You can select the -LM model during installation with Device Manager and maintain a signed driver. It has only one extra advanced option called MACsec.

Intel does this to all their NICs on all versions of Server back to 2003. If you edit the INF, you can delete the redundant section and reference to it in Manufacturers. The extra .1 in 6.2.1 means workstation. Without it, the driver will install on any Windows.

I didn't know that the driver would stick after the signature enforcement was turned back on. This horrible innovation from Microsoft enables back marketing practices from Intel.
