I'd like to see Screenshare quality settings like commet: commetchat/commet#718

Does element call need to be rewritten for something like this, though?

I believe Commet has a custom solution, but I could be entirely wrong.

YEZ. this is really important. One of the Reasons I still have that early Commet Build localy, becasuse I want to use av1 and set my bitrate higher

as far as I know yes. their settings are in the "General" app settings, not in the Call actually.
