Inline images do not get displayed properly on lemmy

Quick summary

If a post in Wordpress uses in-line images, then when that post is seen on lemmy, those will be displayed using html notation, which will not work.

For example I published this post: https://dbzer0.com/blog/magnagothica-maleghast-print-play-unit-chips/

On lemmy it looks like this: https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/post/71978395

This is probably because lemmy uses markdown, whereas this plugin is tailored to Mastodon which expects html notation.

Steps to reproduce

• Write a wordpress post,
• add inline images
• check post on lemmy

But isn't that an issue of lemmy then? the code box and the list seem to show up fine, so they seem to support a subset of HTML!?

I can't really say. Do you format the code box with html tags and lemmy converts it?
