API Problem with CommandBeep V1.0.2 on MS Store

Synopsis

As for2026 July 11, MS Store Build of CommandBeep doesn't work.

Problem

If you try to launch CommandBeep and add an API Key, it won't respond, even after hitting the "refresh" button on CommandBeep. Reloading Command Palette actually crashes the plugin.

Proposed Fix

Frankly, I can't say for sure, other than to... find the bug.

So I tested the Production (Release x64 Build in VS); here's how to crash the software.

• Add API Key
• No Step 2.

Literally, the error happens once you added API Key, which is strange honestly Benji. But all error handling including Offline Beeper, disabled desktop API access, and invalid token works just fine. So, I think we got the answer...

EDIT: Turns out it doesn't bugs out if you have Invalid API Key
