rendering webpages with quarto

I was not quick enough to think to ask someone to create an issue covering when we render with quarto. If someone(s) could please run the following in a terminal and copy the output to this thread, I'll try to noodle out a solution.

Hello!

I am encountering some issues with sourcing my setup.R. I made sure to restart RStudio and made sure both R and RStudio were updated. I also made sure that my working directory was correctly set. What should I do?

this is the error code:

source("setup.R")
Error in file(filename, "r", encoding = encoding) :
cannot open the connection
In addition: Warning message:
In file(filename, "r", encoding = encoding) :
cannot open file 'setup.R': No such file or directory

Did you reopen your project? Try File > Recent Projects

This changes R’s working directory

Worked magic! Thank you. I think it was just because I restarted my computer and it reset RStudio out of my project.

Yes, when we set all of those global configs yesterday we told R to start with a clean slate.*
