What is the state of the project today ?

Hello,

I was recently interested in making a portable SSD that will have two VHDs, one for windows and the other for fedora. So i can boot them directly from my SSD on any pc using ventoy.

So because these VHDs are only 40GB each, i don't want to clutter the system by installing apps, instead i wanted a way to run portable apps directly from my SSD.

For windows its already possible using PortableApps, but for linux it appears to be a bit complicated.

So i asked chatGPT and he suggested me your repo 😅

So i wanted to know if you are still interested in updating this app, or if you know any other alternatives that could help me

It's probably best described as "maintenance mode". I haven't really had a reason to use it in a while, but last I checked everything should still work fine (though I should at least update some deps and rebuild at some point). I've had it on my TODO list for a while to give this project some love, but haven't gotten around to it. If it's broken please let me know and I'll be happy to fix things. If you have suggestions I'd love to hear them, though no promises on when/if they'll be added.

It's kind of funny that this project hits a small enough niche to be mentioned by ChatGPT, lol. I wouldn't have expected that.
