Extension is automatically marked as inactive if I don't use codeClimbers homepage

Steps to reproduce
1. Install codeclimbers extension from chrome web store
2. open new tab
3. Popup will appear which says this

homepage has been changed by extension
| Keep it |  | Change it back |
``` 

If I select Change it back, extension is marked as inactive in chrome. Ideally setting homepage should not be mandatory for the extension, people do like to use other homepages
