CheckForPackageUpdates are triggered too frequently

Version 9.4.7, once I open MCP For Unity window, moving the mouse or clicking the button on the window will trigger the CheckForPackageUpdates function, causing the waiting for several minutes. I have to comment out this line to avoid this problem.

And I find this log MCP-FOR-UNITY: Update check failed (this is normal if offline): The operation has timed out.
