openwireless.org & dualband router #303
Description
Join the Movement page only talks about SSID openwireless.org. I have dualband router and I am unsure how I should name the networks.
2.4 GHz is obviously openwireless.org, but 5 GHz has two options:
- the same openwireless.org SSID
- breaks stupid clients such as Android 4.4.4 on Samsung GT-9305
- some other SSID but what?
Currently I am using the same SSID for both and hoping no one needs to access the network with stupid client, but I think openwireless.org needs to take official stance and tell what to do and in case of using same SSID acknowledge existence of dualband routers mentioning to use the same SSID.
