Describe the bug
Plugging in a USB A 3.x drive works for the first two insertions/removals. On the third insertion the flash drive fails to be recognized by the computer. I have to unplug and reseat the expansion card in order to "reset" the port and get it to work again. This issue doesn't seem to appear with USB 2.0 flash drives, only USB 3.x drives. I am pretty certain this is a BIOS bug. The issue doesn't appear on BIOS v3.07.
Steps To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
- Insert a USB 3.x drive into the USB A expansion card.
- After the drive is reconized by the OS (my OS is Fedora 43) eject the drive and remove it from the port. Repeat three times. On the third time the drive will not be detected by the OS. I have also confirmed this bug exists in the officially supported Ubuntu LTS live USB.
Expected behavior
The drive should be detected regardless of how many times it is inserted or ejected.
