Adding urls to Deleted list redirects them to homepage instead of returing 410

Hi Folks,

whenever I add a url to the Deleted list, the site performs a 302 redirect instead of what I believe should be the expected behaviour of showing the 404 page with a status of 410. Is this correct behaviour. Is there maybe some config I need to initialize this?
