Can you make this mod support Non-Steam version?

Because I often use Metahook to play Half-Life, but use Metahook on Steam will got VAC ban. So I played HL on the Non-Steam version

I put this mod in the Non-Steam version , then showing "could not load library \alien\cl_dlls\client.dll"

It's possible but I would have to backport Alien Mode to SDK 2.3. I would recommend using a Steam emulator with the latest version of Half-Life instead.

I tried to copy your client.dll codes into sdk 2.3 and generate it in VS 2022, but there are a lot of errors, I don't understand how this works.

Give this a try. I haven't done much testing but it seems to work. PS2 content will be unavailable with pre-Steampipe versions of GoldSrc since they lack the addon functionality.
