boot hang on redmi splash logo #37
Description
Problem Description
On a Redmi S2(xiaomi ysl) device, installing KPatch-Next-Module causes the device to hang on the vendor logo , after rebooting to recovery, last_kmsg contained the latest reboot before installing the patch, so the kernel didn't logged anything at all.
Device: Redmi S2
Kernel version: Linux 4.9
Android Version: Nusantara OS android 10(should be irrelevant since the problem happens way before system)
Root Solution: SukiSu ultra(builtin, native kpm disabled)
Zygisk: Enabled, ReZygisk(again, should be irrelevant since post-fs-data probably doesnt load at all)
Steps to Reproduce
Install KPatch-Next-Module on the specified environment.
Install and flash the patch.
Reboot the device.
Results
Kaboom kaboom
Boot splash (redmi logo) hangs indefinitely.
Can enter recovery and flash the original kernel zip to solve the issue.
