Description
Based on the commits that shouldn't be the case.
(Assuming the main app hasn't already been reworked to the point of making this helper obsolete or soon unnecessary, in which case this "issue" can of course be ignored)
Given that a recent commit in the 'flavors' repo explicitly mentions "assist" and "compat", the above mentioned "can be ignored" obviously wasn't all that practical. (Ignored because the assumption is right or "ignored" because of disabled issue notifications in this repo).
Direct tagging for a basically cosmetic only issue in this case feels unnecessary as it'll be fixed the next time someone requests a new domain to be added anyway.
