Sensor timeouts

Have the Unity sensor working under home assistant but seeing just a few issues. I've got an automation that checks the unity for 'illuminance' and I checked in the automation 'trace' and I see

Test Current illuminance

This causes the automation to fail.

Also, looking in the ESPHome logs I'm seeing this quite often

[09:32:05][W][component:204]: Component hdc1080.sensor took a long time for an operation (0.05 s).
[09:32:05][W][component:205]: Components should block for at most 20-30ms.

Is there any kind of firmware issue or something I could do to try and resolve this? Otherwise the sensor has been working really well!

Device is reporting the following in Home Assistant:
Firmware: 2023.8.1 (Aug 18 2023, 12:50:42)
Hardware: 1.2.10

The issue appears to be unrelated to the hdc1080 sensor
