Unavailable sif container

Hi. I'm getting started on lumi and am trying to run the example training job from task 03, but I am not able to access the referenced container. Is there any other way to obtain it or any references for building it myself?

Specifically
CONTAINER=/project/project_465001958/containers/pytorch_transformers.sif in run.sh

Hi, you can indeed only access this particular container if you received and accepted an invitation to project 465001958. If you didn't participate in the AI workshop, you didn't get the invitation.

You can instead follow the instructions in section 06_Bulding_containers_from_conda_pip_environments to set up your own custom container that includes all packages you need. You can also see whether any of the provided containers in /appl/local/containers/sif-images mentioned in lecture 5 has all needed packages included already.

Note that LUMI is undergoing a maintenance break this week and will be back online next week.

Thank you. I saw in your other thread that this repository is not intended to be used as a guide after the workshop, referencing the other AI tutorial repo. Maybe it would be nice to have in the readme? I believe this is not immediately obvious to everyone :)
And if such use of this workshop material is discouraged, maybe it would be apporpirate to make this repo a public archive?
