Feature Request - parameer input UI

A few probably related irritations to smooth

• The ordering of the parameters on the user interface appears random - it would be helpful to have them in a logical flow, e.g. tickbox to generate summary metadata before the rest of the summary metadata parameters
• Default values aren't populated in the UI e.g. checkbox with default true is unchecked
• There are a few (but not all) textual annotations
• The profile data entry screen has a much better data driven UI with the ability to show tooltips - would be helpful to learn from that and users experience of that
• There are a number of fields which only need populating when other fields are populated e.g. new branch name - it would be helpful to be able to only show relevant fields
• Often a user will want to refine an existing import - it would be useful to save the import parameters (cookie, browser or in the database) so the last parameters could be populated after a failure
• Some fields are naturally enumerations e.g. SQL Server authentication method - free text typing is undesirable and error-prone
