Help regarding conflict resolution in pygeodiff


I'm working on merging two geo-packages using the geodiff library, I'm trying to understand the conflict resolution or developing a module for this. I have noticed that when using the apply_changeset function on cli it gives the conflict error but when using it in Python it doesn't. could someone help me with this I don't want to be writing scripts to be executed in CLI and back to Python.
