Hi Robert, what exactly does not work? When you see the streams on Nginx/VLC, but not within motion, did you check the camera.conf files in motion?I tried ffmpeg over and over again, but it simply does not work as expected. Also, it creates a lot of CPU load. At what point does rpicam-vid not work? Do you actually get a stream out of the cam? |

Has anyone had success with the following using Trixie on a Pi 4 or Pi 5?
https://www.wetransco.de/2023/12/debian ... -module-3/
I have been running solid for more than a year now with Motion Plus, Debian Bookworm on Virtual Box and PiZero2W Cameras (Trixie).
I am trying to build a portable kit with a Pi 4 (Trixie), Openwrt and PiZero2W Cameras (Trixie).
My onboard camera on PI 4 works, but rpicam-vid video streams listed on the Linked Page do not.
The Video Streams work via VLC and also NGINX but never connect to the Motion v5 NetCAM interface.
I am about to give up on rpicam-vid and start trying ffmpeg but thought I would ask here first.
