NixOS package in the flake

Unable to run Vortex on NixOS, tried to package it personally but it appears the packaging workflow is complex and makes assumptions about the environment (internet access).

Describe the solution you'd like
As you appear to be using Nix internally for devshells, if you're able to adjust the packaging system to work with Nix or even provide a Nix package, that'd be grand

Describe alternatives you've considered
Tried packaging it myself, but didn't get too far as it got very complex due to assumptions that didn't hold on NixOS

Hi @mr-bo-jangles - nix packaging is on the todo list. There's still a lot of work to be done though. Going to close this as it's actively being developed.

To be specific @mr-bo-jangles , there's a lot of work around build systems etc. being done right now; so things are breaking here and there a bit.

I had to fixup the Nix flake for development as recently as last Thursday; as Vortex itself switched to pnpm for managing the JS/TS packages.

As for network; I'd have to look into it.
Usually the ideal for Nix is to build without networking,

Officially speaking, the plan is for Vortex to only support a Flatpak build targeted towards SteamOS.
Achieving that currently needs a PR flatpak/flatpak-builder-tools#511 to generate the offline sources for build.

Build script itself is not that complicated; so whatever works for Flatpak could easily be adapted for Nix; i.e. Nix could just use the offline flatpak sources for that clean reproducible build.

[PS. I'm the only one using Nix in the team, ahaha; so the flake is really just for my personal use 😅]
