Due to shipping in IDLE (pressure-activation) state, TWR APEX floats periodically check pressure and temperature. The data is stored on board and accessible by the end user, resulting in a temperature record throughout the shipping process. Argo Tech would request this from other vendors as well as it could be a useful diagnostic record. SBS noted a desired temperature during shipping <45°C; there is currently no way to evaluate how many sensors may be experiencing those temperatures prior to deployment across the whole array.
