Docker Build Issue

Hi Support,

I am getting build issue with Docker:

Step 10/24 : RUN mkdir ./Runtime && unzip Server/dist/OpenAS2Server-*.zip -d Runtime
 ---> Running in 73050ac75267
unzip:  cannot find or open Server/dist/OpenAS2Server-*.zip, Server/dist/OpenAS2Server-*.zip.zip or Server/dist/OpenAS2Server-*.zip.ZIP.

No zipfiles found.
The command '/bin/sh -c mkdir ./Runtime && unzip Server/dist/OpenAS2Server-*.zip -d Runtime' returned a non-zero code: 9

There are no "dist" folder or zip files available under "Server" directory. Please help me to solve this? Where can I found these zip files.

Run this command first which creartes the zip file:
./mvnw clean package

This command is already added in Dockerfile just before the command extracting archives.

Run it on its own and see if it creates the dist folder with zip in it.

Executed command ./mvnw clean package directly. Attaching output log.

OS: Ubuntu 24.04 (64-bit)
Server: Amazon EC2
vCPU: 2
RAM: 8GB
Java: OpenJDK 21.0.8

Search for "ERROR" in that log file and you will see plenty of them.

My guess is that you are not using the standard file set as obtained when cloning the repo from Github but instead you first modified the cloned file set in some way.

I just executed 4 commands as below. Not a single file modified

cd /opt
git clone https://github.com/OpenAS2/OpenAs2App
cd OpenAs2App/
./mvnw clean package

Is this possible due to Java version? Does this depends on any specific java version.

Yes. I can confirm the build fails. The reason seems to be related to SSL issues (unsupported) with maven and some unit tests failing. - J

It is the test certificates that are expired.

I will have to make a change to the code so that it regenerates them on demand for tests so that this does not happen in the future again.

I will let you know when there is a release you can use for this.

@tecrahul - as a workaround until the code change is done you have 2 options:

1. Download the packaged zip file from here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/openas2/files/
   Then run the docker commands manually from where it extracts the zip file.
2. Create your own test certificates for the test system using the Server/src/bin/gen_p12_key_par.sh script and place them in the relevant folders using the correct aliases:

• Server/src/test/resources/OpenAS2ServerTest/OpenAS2B/config/as2_certs.p12 - use "openas2a" and "openas2b" aliases
• Server/src/test/resources/OpenAS2ServerTest/OpenAS2A/config/as2_certs.p12 - use "openas2a" and "openas2b" aliases
• Server/src/test/resources/SingleServerTest/MyCompany/config/as2_certs.p12 - use "mycompany" and "partnera" aliases
