Opencpn 5.0.0 Plugins interface is empty

I have downloaded the Opencpn V5.0.0 source code from Github and compiled as well. However, the options -> Plugins interface is empty. I cannot see any tabs. Besides, under the Options -> Charts tab, I cannot see the Chart Downloader tab. I have to install the chart files manually. The screenshots has been attched.

You should upgrade to at least OpenCPN 5.4.8 now.
Version 5.0.0 is very old and no plugins are available for that.

Thanks for your reply. By the way, I found only two old APIs for OpenCPN Plugins, is there any API for OpenCPN so that developers can use?
