There is a number of open PRs with the big task to create a kiosk app for iOS. Whereas we don't want to bet for the big picture of kiosk as it is, we recognize that reviewing this project and assessing this contribution is important, and will add a lot of value.

We have no specific idea of the scope of this value, but we can help shape it.

What do you aim for in the product review and Product validation and recommendation? What are you paying attention to in the review and what would you like to validate? What kind of recommendations are you looking for?

What do you mean with "although we depend on the user" in Appetite?

Basically this is a contribution. We are going to spend focus and time defining around the proposal, but we cannot know if the person developing this is going to work on it on the next month or not (and we don't need to). So I can say our appetite for this is small (no huge changes), but timing-wise we cannot scope (and its OK).

What do you aim for in the product review and Product validation and recommendation? What are you paying attention to in the review and what would you like to validate? What kind of recommendations are you looking for?

Just lending our time - there is a lot to test, review, and see if there are suggestions for improvements that we can make, alternative paths for the same proposal, etc. I don't aim to have a validation plan outside, but at the very least make sure the kiosk mode proposed will fly well with the goals we have, in detail. Besides, Bruno has the actual code review, which is pretty big.

I am not looking for recommendations but to give recommendations. Meaning in this scope I not be executing changes nor anyone else in OHF, but its the contributor PR.

ahhh I see
maybe it makes sense to highlight which bets are from the community and which ones from us? Just from reading I didn't get it. We could add a label

Foundation for Kiosk mode has been implemented and it is on track for the next release it includes the basic functionality to lock the device into Home Assistant app and display a screensaver.
Bet should be done over iterations of this feature, such as controlling screensaver using sensor entity or displaying live feed of a camera given a trigger.

just checking @bgoncal all these PRs got merged nicely rigth? I'm using it in latest iOS version, and it works well - but checking before moving it along
