Content providers that support multiple authentication mechanisms for a single Customer_ID MUST attribute usage from all authentication mechanisms to that Customer_ID. This includes:
- IP recognition, including EZProxy, VPN access and other IP based solutions
- Shibboleth, OpenID Connect and other federated identity solutions
Usage MUST only be counted once per Customer_ID.
