Failing on Bioconductor release 3.22 branch

The package is failing on the RELEASE_3_22 branch of Bioconductor.  https://bioconductor.org/checkResults/release/bioc-LATEST/COMPASS/  Please investigate and fix.  This does not appear on the devel branch so perhaps there was a bug correction already applied on devel but not RELEASE_3_22?
