Is there a way to set the default date to be shown upon mount?

Similar to the placeholder, but actually selectable.

@ZephD Here you go, a wrapper component:

import $ from 'jquery';
import moment from 'moment';

export default class DatePicker extends React.Component {
    componentDidMount() {
        $('#' + this.props.id)
            .data('DateTimePicker')
            .date(moment.unix(this.props.defaultValue));
    }
    render() {
        return (
            <DateTimePicker {...this.props}/>
        );
    }
}

Then use it like so:

import DatePicker from './DatePicker';
...
<DatePicker defaultValue={...}/>

Of course, you can make it to accept the date in any form, not only unix timestamp (that was my case).

Mixing React and jQuery is generally ill favoured, as both manipulate the DOM.

This widget (datetimepicker-bootstrap) depends on jQuery anyway. So you have no choice to include it :)

And iMasterAle uses it also. It's Bootstrap, you know.
I've used jQuery here only because of .data('DateTimePicker'). If you find a way to fire up the date function without this, please let me know.

Note All functions are accessed via the data attribute e.g. $('#datetimepicker').data("DateTimePicker").FUNCTION()
