Different behaviour for j and k

Go up and down have different behaviour. Is this expected? As a user go down works fine for me but i did not get how go up works.

my idea was going up would when entering a new day would move to the first task of that day. perhaps it would be more intuitive if left and right also tracked to the first task of the day?
the reason i did this instead of going to the direct task above is in the case the user wants to navigate by day if a day has many tasks and the user wants to go 2 weeks up I don't think they would want to click k for each task in the day.
However curious to hear what you would expect for the behavior to be?

k navigation is not working as expected when there is no task at all. think of empty calendar.
