Charging switch not working

Have observed that the charging switch does not stay on when toggled and the command is not sent. The SAIC log shows that the charge status has been requested but it does not stay in.

however if switching on the front heater defrost the charging switch comes on by itself, stays on and the car charges.

can anyone help with this:

1. why is it charging when front defrost is on
2. why is it not charging when switch toggled to on.

Same issue here, but I'l not sure if it is actually currently supported
