Issue: Input Text Is Cleared After Rotation

Steps to reproduce:

1. Tap Commands in the bottom-right corner.
2. Enter text, e.g., c, into the input field.
3. Rotate the device — the entered text c is cleared.

Expected behavior:
After rotation, the entered text should remain in the input field.
