How many years have you been working professionally in total? Please round to the nearest whole number, excluding any decimal points.

This is ambiguous, does that refer to "professional work in a role related to or adjacent to computer" or "work in general". It should also accepts 0 as the answer, ie if the respondents is still in school.

If the survey is wholly intended for developers, this question should end the survey:

Are you someone who creates code? Please select one of the following options that best describes you today.

CodeMain = occasionally also doesn't necessarily means the respondent is a developer so depending on intent it should be clarified in a subsequent question

I think using this phrasing as an example would be better

Instead of allowing '0', I was intending respondents to skip the work experience question but maybe that should be made clearer.

I think we will get clear responses on who uses code and is not a developer with the question on 'creating code' as-is. I also like your idea on adjusted phrasing for the years of coding.
