Font weird change issues

I used the comic san ms bold font.
Only the segoe variable fonts are being changed that is used in UWP apps like settings.
The legacy segoe font that is used on file explorer are changed to some type of italic font
Also outlook doesn't have proper font changes

Here is my trial result. I also provided a screenshot of how I chose "Comic Sans". Please try again, and if it didn't work, please provide the Windows version you use.

Thanks, it worked, however not everywhere its changed, was it supposed to be like this?

I think this is happening because of using a static font instead of a variable font file.

@SyrianTurk Hi, just to let you know, this is also happening to me but happens both when I use a variable font file and a static file. Happy to help you test a fix if you would like - just let me know. Thanks

Edit: It was working for me earlier when I was using SF Pro but changed font and now it no longer works, even when I use SF Pro again

Just for some more information as well, it did affect websites such as Github before for me; however, now it only works on fonts that are bold or headers, as seen is the attached image where I am using SF Pro.
