Callout Plugin

Goal

Create a plugin to interrupt or end sections with a call to action.

Requirements

• image
• title
• description
• (debatable) only allow as child of Section*

* This requirement will prevent rogue Callout's that have spacing that is not consistent with sections (and avoid ad hoc styles to remedy that).

Backgrounds

Could be used for:

• Getting Started
• Media Kit

In https://github.com/TACC/Core-CMS/milestone/4, this is expected to be created as static content.

Direction

Design wants changing the text of this to affect all instances. Ideas:

1. ✕ Add a {% static_placeholder %}, and require consistent placement in a standard template. (Limits design.)
2. ▶ Follow stack overflow answer to do this (i.e. use {% show_placeholder %} in plugin template).
3. ? Create this plugin with a PlaceholderField… and maybe allow re-use of one instance of this plugin.

Reference

This is currently used on [multiple] sections for Frontera, but Design said (in Jan 2021) it will likely be in just one location.
