Endlessly Fetching and Parsing static file

Steps to reproduce

1. Type https://geoportal.vrn.de/services/sharing/rest/content/items/4ec4b1d131eb46a6bb8e216ce9b90eff/data in the sratic file config.

Expected behaviour
Fetching and parsing finoshed after minutes or at least an hour.

Actual behaviour
Still fetching and parsing after 7 hours.

Phone data
Fairphone 4
Android 15

Additional hints
It would be great to see some progress. At least differentiate between fetching and parsing.
Keep the fetched file, if only the parsing is still not finished and restart parsing on app start.

Tried https://realtime.gtfs.de/realtime-free.pb in both realtime and static with similar experience

Same issue with https://gtfs.ovapi.nl/gtfs-nl.zip on Fairphone 4 /e/OS android 15.

App looks really promising!
