Contributing to UnixMC

We're thrilled that you're interested in contributing to UnixMC! This document provides guidelines for contributions to ensure a welcoming and productive environment for everyone in our community.

Getting Started

Due to the private nature of the UnixMC project, all potential contributors are required to:

  1. Join our Discord community.
  2. Express your interest in contributing in the support channel.
  3. Obtain permission to contribute by agreeing to our terms, which include signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA).

Contribution Process

Once you've received permission to contribute, here are the steps to follow:

  • Discuss your ideas or the issues you wish to tackle with the project maintainers. This can be done via Discord or GitHub issues, depending on the nature of your contribution.
  • Fork the repository (if applicable and permitted).
  • Create a branch for your feature or fix.
  • Commit your changes with clear, descriptive commit messages.
  • Submit a pull request with a comprehensive description of your changes.
