Why not implement in uvloop?

uvloop has been actively looking for someone to add Windows support for ages.

Why create a separate winloop library instead of contributing Windows support for uvloop. Time to merge this project back into the uvloop project?

@Richienb I thought about doing this a long time ago the problem was cython's deprecation of IF and ELIF, There are many more moving parts to take into account but this is the biggest offender. The other issues stem around compilation issues. The reason I never bothered with this when I made this project was because I had the fear that my code wasn't good enough to merge back in the day this was one of my first real projects to hit pypi. The fact that the issue hasn't been closed yet is perplexing yet surprising. I have zero motivation however to try and unify the two due to many complications but if anybody wants to get started with unifying winloop to uvloop feel free to contact me.

Know that when I say this, I do not discourage anybody from trying as this OS Gate has been an issue for an extremely long time (close to a decade as of writing this).

In fact I would be all for making winloop obsolete at some point in the future as it would allow me to explore and maintain my other libraries a bit more. Then I could decommission this library by having a warning that winloop is obsolete and having uvloop be temporarily imported in it's place for a bit of time until everyone has moved and just pass off the burden to magicstack to handle. I've offered that via email in the past but I got no response about the plan and had assumed the maintainers wanted me to continue to maintain the windows branch by myself.

Luckily for us, lschoe Made bridging the libraries between cygwin and winloop pretty simply but I haven't had the time to bridge them just yet all together

@Richienb I added a milestone for this to be the endgame for this library which is handing everything back to magicstack to maintain.

@fantix do you or any other uvloop maintainers have any thoughts on attempting to do this merge uvloop & winloop together before I make my first attempts?
