Feature or possible bug: Multiplayer client should pull from server config values.

Describe the bug
Even though the server says it sends the config to the client, client still pulls visual values from client config. Would like to see a function that allows server owners to do their own settings without having to force feed a config file.

The past couple of years have been crazy, and the last year has been especially so. But I'm trying to get back into it.
I know it's been unacceptably long, But If you could expand on what visuals you're talking about specifically, I might be able to try and focus on it in an upcoming update for 1.12.2 I plan to release. I can't guarantee anything due to circumstances, but I hope to get some work done.

Even if you don't respond, I'll try to do a general overview of how the configs are handled to try and prevent config leakage that would allow for that.

Welcome back! I will try to help where I can and thank you for responding! So iirc Shypl0x and I did some race edits to see how things could be tweaked for Shycraft game play. The goal if this request was to force the client side mod into checking the server for a matching config and if it was different it would use its valves instead. We made races like the titan into more Jotun style giants which made them more of a playable race. We just hoped it would be neat to not have to send out a modpack or config update when changing race settings.

A lot of stuff will need to be overhauled to try and accomplish that.
But I've been wanting to change things to rely more on the server side to avoid issues like that.
I'll see what I can manage.

This has been accomplished, It's possible there might be a small desync here and there client side, if so, please report it.
But most code now runs server side, and for important information from the configs are now synced.
