[BUG] Update failed: Update preflight failed: fs is not defined

Describe the Bug

When I click update, there is a popup on Chrome that says "Update failed: Update preflight failed: fs is not defined.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

Open hamclock in browser
Go to the bottom left and click update
Click OK to proceed with update
see error

Expected Behavior

Either update to newest version, or state "Latest version running" if there are no new updates.

Have you tried running the following in the openhamcloock directory?

$ npm ci

The message is coming from the catch(err) of this fragment in server/routes/admin.js

fs should have been defined at the top of the code,

so I am wondering if your packages for node.js are set up correctly.

I gave it a shot, and this is what I got back

I should mention, this is how Im installing the program
Following instructions for a headless install:

Server-only install (headless, no GUI):

curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/accius/openhamclock/main/scripts/setup-pi.sh | bash -s -- --server

Runs OpenHamClock as a web server only. Access it from any browser on your LAN.

This is a known bug in v26.1.3 — the fs module import was missing from the update preflight route. It's been fixed in commit 2074938.

The fix will be in the next release to main, but since the update button itself is what's broken, you'll need to do a one-time manual update:

cd ~/openhamclock
git pull
npm ci

Then restart the server (or reboot). After that, the in-app update button will work going forward.
