Mask closing before text

Hi,

first of all thanks for the help and this great code.

I've rewritten the code a bit to fit my design. I have the mask now covering the whole site to create a overlay navigation instead of the top navigation. However, when I close the navigation, the text is still shown about 0.2 seconds, creating a weird transition. Any ideas on how to solve this?
