I often work on a separate machine that I access over Sunshine / Moonlight for development. I'm using FluidVoice (which I love) for speech to text on my Mac, which is my host machine. I have my clipboards synced between my Mac and my developer machine that I'm assessing over Sunshine / Moonlight. With the "Copy to Clipboard" setting enabled, this is my workflow:

Trigger Hotkey on Mac --> Transcript converted to Text and copied to Mac clipboard --> clipboard synced to remote machine's clipboard --> paste text on remote machine

This workflow is great, expect for one small issue. A single character (either "a" or "v", depending on the Insertion Mode) is inserted into the focused text field after my dictation is finished.

It seems one way to avoid this would be to add "None" as an option for Text Insertion Mode. This option would be ideal for my workflow because I always want to insert my latest transcript from my clipboard and avoid automatic text insertion entirely.

@salimhamed thanks for the clear write-up — the Sunshine/Moonlight clipboard-sync workflow makes total sense, and the stray "a"/"v" keystroke after dictation is exactly the leftover insertion this avoids.

Heads-up so you don't duplicate effort: this is already implemented in #484. It adds a new Text Insertion Mode that skips the insertion path entirely (so no trailing character is typed) and writes the transcript straight to the clipboard — which is precisely your flow. The PR is up and passing review.

The one open question is the name. You suggested "None"; the current label is "Copy to Clipboard Only" (since the mode also guarantees the clipboard write, independent of the existing "Copy to Clipboard" backup checkbox). Does that name read clearly for your use case, or would you still prefer something like "None" / "No Insertion"? Happy to adjust — your input would help settle it.
