Competitors RevOps analysis #1251

Description

SaaS doesn’t scale with features. It scales with cross-functional alignment.

Too many products are still run like a small shop:

  • Add more shelves (features)
  • Add more goods (releases)
  • Hope customers buy

That might work for retail. But SaaS is continuous, service-driven, and outcome-focused.

Scaling SaaS requires cross-functional alignment — where every function delivers its unique value:

  • Executive Leadership → strategic value (vision, alignment, capital efficiency)
  • Product & Engineering → customer value (quality features, innovation)
  • Sales & Marketing → market value (adoption, revenue, positioning)
  • Customer Success & Support → retention value (loyalty, expansion)
  • Ops & Finance → scaling value (efficiency, sustainability)

In silos, value fragments — and SaaS stalls.
Together, value compounds — and SaaS scales.
