yeah brought in by #2906

was looking at that PR earlier today and thought seeing the lazy fixture there was weird but didnt comment hahaha

should be quick to replace with just pytest.lazy_fixture

@jayceslesar the issue is the "pytest-lazy-fixture==0.6.3", isn't being loaded in CI prior to the avro test being run. It's not related to imports. That's the same import from test_base and test_sql.
Easiest fix would be adding the above dependency to the workflow
CIBW_TEST_REQUIRES: "pytest==7.4.2 moto==5.0.1 pytest-lazy-fixture==0.6.3"

oh yeah that makes sense, but I do remember some weirdness with CI when using the lazy fixture a while back 🤔

thanks for looking into this. I think its the missing pytest-lazy-fixture dependency. pytest_lazyfixture was added to tests/conftest.py in https://github.com/apache/iceberg-python/pull/2906/files#diff-e52e4ddd58b7ef887ab03c04116e676f6280b824ab7469d5d3080e5cba4f2128R48

so pytest {project}/tests/avro/test_decoder.py would require it.
