Here are some example .exe files. The only one I see with a stub is the DX.exe. The launcher and others don't have them. However, I am adding them for comparing them if needed.
Atelier_Lydie_and_Suelle_DX.exe.zip
Atelier_Lydie_and_Suelle_DX_Env.exe.zip
Atelier_Lydie_and_Suelle_DX_Launcher.exe.zip
After I unpack the one with a stub and start the game with the launcher it will error with "Unable to start game because it is not properly installed. Please uninstall the game and install it again. ". The unpacked file doesn't seem to launch the game directly using it either with a launch option in Steam. I searched for similar issues about the Atelier games and saw one about using the CFF Explorer. So I searched for the .bind and did attempt removing it. Did an unpack and still see the same issue. I also looked into it further and the stubbed executable is showing "Security Directory RVA" is "invalid". So I tried to delete that directory like a AI search told me, but it still will not go anywhere with this.
Am I doing something wrong, is there another DRM on this game, or something else?
