I updated the password to a strong one, but the deployment still failed.

"CloudFormation did not receive a response from your Custom Resource. Please check your logs for requestId [5ebbbce2-7155-41ce-ab3f-850aa340f634]. If you are using the Python cfn-response module, you may need to update your Lambda function code so that CloudFormation can attach the updated version."

Has anyone successfully gotten this to work recently? I'm switching back to installing “MailInBox” manually. The template and the article sounded very promising. I wish it had been well tested and worked as described.
