Description
This is an overall quality of life and potential safety improvement. I know a lot of unneeded services are run at boot time, and it usually takes a little while for the BB to be ready for connection. There are a number of resources that list ways to decrease that time, which has two benefits: one, we can recover from any issue faster if we crash and two, we are able to test/power cycle faster. It should be fairly easy, but we should also benchmark start time to have an idea of how long it takes to go from powered off to connected.
This is a start, not sure if it'll work exactly with what we need but its worth a read: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Sitara_Linux_Training:_Boot_Time_Reduction
