Hi and thank you for your comment.

I think this is possible, but will investigate further and come back to you.
(The (two) main reason(s) I havn't done this before:

1. I am not shure if this doesn't break compatibility with avrdude.
2. I am not a windows fan (not nearly) ;-)

For quite some time I am now thinking about re-implementing a complete revised USBaspLoader 2.0, with an kbuild based configuration menu and features like the one you requested.

If you are interested in helping out? If you know people/if people read this comment, who want to support it:
It would be faster and an easier decision to start with USBaspLoader 2.0, if it becomes a team efford.
