Clarification of gocryptfs.conf #225

I have unsuccessfully tried to locate the author of cppcryptfs so my apologies for posting here. I am trying to find out what security measures do I need to take with the gocryptfs.conf file. Specifically, what do I do with the parameters in the EncryptedKey segment of the .conf file? In addition. if I lose access to the password that was used to create the encrypted folder, is there a way to rebuild the encrypted folder if I have access to the gocryptfs.conf file?
I am using Windows 11 and 1.4.4.8 of cppcryptfs.
