Install fails on Expo 54

⚠️  Something went wrong running `pod install` in the `ios` directory.
Command `pod install` failed.
└─ Cause: Unable to find a specification for `RCT-Folly` depended upon by `react-native-image-resizer`

Looks to be because of the new precompiled libraries. Here's a similar issue on another library:

I've managed to solve this using the patch-package, until we await the update to be published

Required Changes

Edit node_modules/@bam.tech/react-native-image-resizer/react-native-image-resizer.podspec:

Replace:

s.dependency "React-Codegen"
s.dependency "RCT-Folly"
s.dependency "RCTRequired"
...

With:

s.dependency "React-Codegen"
if ENV['RCT_USE_PREBUILT_RNCORE'] != '1' then
  s.dependency "RCT-Folly"
end
s.dependency "RCTRequired"
...

Generate the Patch

After making the changes, run:

npx patch-package @bam.tech/react-native-image-resizer
