Feature Request: Add a global search command palette for quick navigation across the site #2868

As the Base website grows, navigating between pages, docs, and sections can require multiple clicks or scrolling. A global command palette would allow users to quickly jump to content using keyboard-driven search.
Problem Description
Users and contributors may struggle to quickly find:
- specific documentation pages
- ecosystem links or tools
- sections within long pages

Without a fast navigation mechanism, discovering content becomes slower, especially for power users and frequent visitors.
Proposed Solution
Introduce a global command palette (e.g., opened with ⌘K / Ctrl+K) that allows users to search and navigate to pages, sections, and external links. The palette should be lightweight, keyboard-first, and easy to extend as new content is added.
Acceptance Criteria
Users can open a command palette via keyboard shortcut. The palette supports searching and navigating to major pages and sections. Navigation is fast and accessible, with no impact on existing site behavior.
