When will edition 2024 features be supported?

I see that ProtoBuf has released Edition 2024, but when using buf v1.61.0, it still indicates that it only supports 2023. Some features of Edition 2024 are unavailable. Are there any other ways to support 2024, such as setting up a trial version?

We are currently working on an overhaul of our compiler, and along with that, we'll introduce support for edition 2024. I will keep this issue open and update when things become available. Thank you!
